Select and change the origin of a wall

Purpose

Create a single wall, starting from a specified point in the layout and change the origin, if necessary

Prerequisites

If you are creating a wall and want to use settings other than the defaults, you must edit the Wall Settings. See Wall Settings for more information.

Steps

Display the wall in the main layout and follow these steps:

1. Click Origin.

The origin displays.

2. Click the Move Origin button.

The Move Origin dialog displays.

3. Enter the distance to move the origin.
4. Click Move Relative to move the origin relative to the current point. Or, click Move Absolute to move the origin an absolute distance.

5. You can now create a wall using the new origin (start) point.
